Today’s Luanda is a large metropolis with more than 6 million inhabitants from all provinces and foreign countries. Among the typical figures of Luanda are the greengrocers or zungueira, and the famous candongueiros (collective taxis). Luanda offers gastronomic variety and an intense nightlife, restaurants with live music, bars, nightclubs, where Quizomba and Semba add to the always pleasant temperature the sensuality of the dance.
